Abstract
The subject of the research were the static and dynamic properties of a new PVDF-based transducer. The tested transducer was a cable consisting of an internal semiconductive electrode, a PVDF material and an external electrod e in the form of a thin layer of semiconductive lacquer with copper wire fo r providing electrical contacts. The measurements of electrical signals (el ongation, force, electrical charge) received under mechanical tension are p resented. Piezoelectric coefficients d and g for tension were calculated on the basis of the measurements. The results can be used to make mechano-ele ctrical models of such transducers.
