Abstract
A corona wire associated with a non-ionizing metallic tube connected to the same high voltage and facing a grounded plane is an electrode arrangement frequently encountered in electrostatic processes. The two-loop computation al algorithm proposed for the study of this electric field configuration al ternatively solves the Poisson equation and the equation of charge conserva tion, until Peek's law for corona onset is fulfilled.
