Abstract
Eucalyptus globulus oils from four different geoclimatic zones in India wer e analyzed by gas chromatography for quality evaluation. Nineteen component s were identified with the help of retention indices and co-injection techn ique. Among the four samples the oil from Bangalore was found to be of supe rior quality, containing highest percentage of 1,8-cineole.
