Abstract
CdS nanoparticles have been synthesised by thermolysing Cd(SCNHNH2)(2)Cl-2 in tri-n-octylphosphine oxide (TOPO) at 230 degreesC. The optical propertie s and structural characteristics of the particles are reported.
