Computed tomography for the diagnosis of a lumbosacral nerve sheath tumourand management by hemipelvectomy

Computed tomography was used to define the gross extent of a lumbosacral pl exus nerve sheath tumour in a 10-year-old crossbred dog. The tumour was als o visualised ultrasonographically, which enabled a percutaneous biopsy to b e taken. Hemipelvectomy was performed to achieve a clean margin of surgical excision.
