Abstract
A new glucosyl diterpene possessing a geranyl-geraniol skeleton and named v
ernanolide was isolated from a Sapindaceae plant species, Cupania vernalis,
popularly named "arco de peneira". The structure of the isolated compound
was determined by H-1, C-13 NMR, MS, IR and 2D NMR experiments.
