Abstract
Fertility behaviour of 1388 eligible couples of Gond tribe of Jabalpur dist rict of Madhya Pradesh has been studied in this paper. The analysis has ind icated that Total Marital Fertility rate in the tribe is 4.80 children amon g the Gond women. The! fertility rate varies according to age at marriage o f woman, education of husband and wife, and type of household.
