Abstract
Vessel length and diameter in 10 species of Hibiscus were investigated in root, node, internode, petiole and peduncle. Vessel length ranges from short (112 mu m) to medium (312 mu m) and vessel diameter from ve ry small (35 mu m) to moderately small (119 mu m).
