Abstract
The O-16 + C-12 elastic cross section at 300 MeV has been measured over a w ide angular range, displaying the shoulder of a nuclear rainbow. The optica l model analysis was done using a microscopic potential as well as phenomen ological real potentials. The results of this study confirm the potential c haracteristics found in previous studies at higher and lower energies. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
