F. Hammache et al., The solar neutrino problem: Low energy measurements of the Be-7(p,gamma)B-8 cross section, NUCL PHYS A, 688(1-2), 2001, pp. 273C-276C
We have measured Be-7(p,gamma)B-8 cross sections for E-c.m. = 185.8 keV, 13
4.7 keV and 111.7 keV (the lowest energy ever reached at this day) using a
radioactive 7Be target (132 mCi). beta (+) and alpha particles from B-8 and
Be-8* decay, respectively, were detected in coincidence using a large soli
d angle spectrometer. The zero energy S factor infered from our data is in
agreement with the most recent direct measurements.
