Abstract
For over 50 years it has been known that globular cluster giants show star- to-star abundance variations in C and N, but now we know that other element s such as O, Na, Mg and Al also show such variations. Two competing explana tions have been proposed-the "Deep Mixing" and "Primordial Enhancement" hyp otheses. Here we investigate part of a sequence of events that may help exp lain these variations.
