Abstract
alpha -nucleus potentials are one important ingredient for the calculation of (gamma,alpha) photodisintegration rates in the astrophysical gamma proce ss. We have determined the Mo-92-alpha potential from elastic scattering at energies close to the Coulomb barrier.
