Abstract
Low energy nuclear reactions on light nuclei are important for understandin g stellar and big bang nucleosynthesis. The reactions are also important in fusion reactor diagnostics. To complement previous angular distribution me asurements of the (d,p) reactions, the current research investigates the an alog (d,n) reactions on D, Li-6,Li-7, Be-9, B-10,B-11. Total cross sections and astrophysical S-factors are presented for effective center of mass ene rgies as low as 24 keV for the d + d reaction.
