Abstract
Neutrino factories allow precise measurements of neutrino masses, leptonic mixing angles, leptonic CP-violation and matter effects. Some aspects of ma tter effects and their role in the disentanglement of parameters in very lo ng baseline neutrino oscillation experiments are discussed.
