Abstract
In this Brief Communication, a new approach to generalize the lattice Boltz mann method to produce fluid flow consistent with the Brinkman equation is presented. The method described in this communication both eliminates secon d order errors in velocity and improves stability over that of a previously proposed lattice Boltzmann-based model.
