Abstract
The catalytic effect of various palladium chelates on the liquid-phase oxid ation of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene (THN) and of hydrogen with oxygen wa s studied. Homogeneous catalysts are more active in THN oxidation than supp orted catalysts. Of the homogeneous catalysts, cis-[1,2-(TsN)(N)C6H4](2)Pd is the most active.
