Abstract
Reactions of verbanone and verbenone with lithium tert-alkyldioxyacetylides resulted in formation of the corresponding peroxy-containing acetylenic te rtiary alcohols. Treatment of intermediate lithium alcoholates with benzoyl chloride gave benzoyloxy derivatives. The stability of the products was es timated by thermal gravimetric analysis.
