Abstract
4,4'-Isopropylidenebis(2,6-dibromophenol) was synthesized in 92-96% by reac tion of 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol with bromine taken at a ratio of 1:2 in the presence of 30% hydrogen peroxide.
