Abstract
Results of indentation experiments used for the determination of the deform ation response of the combustion synthesized TiC-NiTi composite are describ ed. The experimentally obtained data is used in combination with a model de veloped for the indentation process which enables the calculation of the co nstitutive properties of a porous cermet.
