Abstract
We present a recently developed numerical code for OLED simulation. This co de contains a detailed description of contacts, charge transport and recomb ination. Its efficiency is briefly shown through examples of single- and bi layer devices and discussed in more detail through the investigation of the action of a LiF thin film on injection. In particular, we show how the cod e can help to discriminate between several possible explanations for this p henomenon. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
