Abstract
The facile and selective preparation of salts of C-60 monoanion as a single crystals has been accomplished by using metallic copper as the reducing ag ent in the presence of the electrolyte Ph4PBr. The salt (Ph4P)(2)C60Br, har vested from the surface of a copper wire, has been characterized by electro n paramagnetic resonance, Vis-NIR spectroscopy and X-ray crystal structure.
