Abstract
A phasmidic liquid crystal incorporating an oligo(para)phenylene-vinylene c ore is a novel approach to achieve order and intermolecular separation in c onjugated materials. Pump-probe experiments with 150-fs time resolution rev eal efficient stimulated emission.
