Control of proton tautomerization using laser field

We simulated the intramolecular double proton transfer controlled by laser field. The laser pulse sequence controlling the motion of two protons is de signed by the optimal control theory. It is shown that the two protons are efficiently moved from one stable configuration to another stable one via t wo eigenstates in the subpico second time domain.
