Abstract
New multi-chromophoric perylene 3, 4, 9, 10- tetracarboxylic dianhydride dy es, which have four substituents in the bay-region of the core besides N, N '-substituents, for solar cell sensitizer have been investigated. A wide sp ectral photoresponse on SnO2, in visible region was observed with maximum I PCE of 24%. In addition, the wide sensitization on SnO2 by cyanine dyes alo ne (maximum IPCE of 46%) and combination-sensitized with RuL2(SCN)(2)(maxim um IPCE of 68%) in NIR region were also observed.
