Abstract
We have fabricated photovoltaic cells from organic donor/acceptor couples a rranged as ionically self assembled monolayers, Making use of the morpholog ical control on the nanometer level we were able to study the influence of the device structure and layer composition on the quantum yield of charge c arrier photogeneration, The photoluminescence quenching and the photocurren t spectra reveal sample composition, charge carrier photogeneration and tra nsport properties independently.
