Abstract
A new UV-photopolymerisable anthracene-based compound has been pulsed-laser -deposited and then photochemically crosslinked to form a stable organic ne twork in an electroluminescent device for the first time. Current-voltage a nd optical emission studies of similar anthracene-based compounds have also been employed to evaluate the laser-deposition technique. Electroluminesce nce emission and charge transport characteristics are comparable with devic es fabricated using conventional spin-coating techniques.
