Abstract
We have investigated the physical properties of [(n-C3H7)(4)N][(FeFeIII)-Fe -II(dto)(3)](dto = C2O2S2) by means of Fe-57 Mossbauer spectroscopy, ESR, a nd magnetic susceptibility. From the analysis of Fe-57 Mossbauer spectra, w e have discovered a new type of first order phase transition for the title complex at about 120 K, where the charge transfer transition between Fe-II and Fe-III occurs reversibly. Moreover, we have found the ferromagnetic pha se transition at 6 K.
