Abstract
In this work PPV films were prepared by electrochemical reduction of alpha, alpha,alpha,alpha -tetrabromo-p-xylene in dimethylformamide and tetraethyla mmonium tetrafluoroborate. To get more information about the mechanism behi nd electrochemical polymerization of PPV and its doping reaction, in situ E SR- UV-VIS measurements were made on the electrochemically synthesized cond ucting polymer PPV.
