Abstract
The lack of solubility and fusibility of PPV is a major problem for process ing and product characterization. We succeeded in the preparation of solubl e and meltable oligomers of all-trans-PPV. In this contribution we report a bout the synthesis of monoheptyl substituted PV oligomers as well as their characterization via UV-Vis, photoluminescence spectroscopy and X-ray scatt ering diffraction.
