Abstract
We present here the synthesis of fully undoped oligo(3,4-ethylenedioxythiop hene) by a dehalogenation polycondensation route. Since it is partly solubl e, spectroscopic experiments like optical absorption were carried out. The oligomer was studied by means of Raman scattering, IR absorption and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and compared to the PEDOT obtained by oxidative way.
