Charge carrier mobilities of fluorene-based polymers were investigated usin
g TOF (time of flight) and TrEL (transient electroluminescence) method. Sin
gle, double and triple bonds were introduced to the main chain of the fluor
ene polymers to investigate the effect of main chain structure on the charg
e carrier mobilities. It showed that the triple bonds introduced polymers g
enerally have lower charge carrier mobilties than the other polymers. Espec
ially, the polymer with two adjacent acetylene groups showed very low charg
e carrier mobility value, which was about a thousand times lower than that
of the double bond introduced polymer.
