Abstract
In this contribution first, a short review is presented on the metathesis r eaction as a direct route for the synthesis of unsubstituted and ring subst ituted all-trans PV oligomers with valuable properties. The second part dea ls with unpublished data concerning the photoluminescence behaviour of mono disperse PV-oligomers with different substituents.
