Abstract
Microcalorimetric measurements of excess molar enthalpies, at 298.15 K, are reported for the two ternary mixtures x(1)CH(3)CH(2)OC(CH3)(3) + x(2)(CH3) (3)CCH2CH(CH3)(2) + x(3)CH(3)(CH2)(v)CH3, where v = 5 and 6. Smooth represe ntations of the results are presented and used to construct constant excess molar enthalpy contours on Roozeboom diagrams. it is shown that good estim ates of the ternary enthalpies can be obtained from the Liebermann and Frie d model, using only the physical properties of the components and their bin ary mixtures.
