Raman spectra of the complexes MeSi[Me2SiN(p-Tol)](3)M-M'Cp(CO)(2) (Me
= CH3, p-Tol = para-CH3-C6H4, Cp = eta(5)- C5H5) with M=Ti, M'=Fe (1a
) and M=Ti, M'=Ru (1b) and the dinuclear complex MeSi[Me2SiN(p-Tol)](3
)M-Co(CO)(3)(PR3) with M=Ti, R=p-Tol (2a) and M=Zr, R=C6H5 (2b) as wel
l as of the titanium bromide complex MeSi[Me2SiN(p-Tol)](3)Ti-Br (3) h
ave been measured. Comparison of the spectra, together with data from
literature of the different ligands, allows an assignment of the chara
