Abstract
We report the slippage of He-4 films physisorbed on a substrate of a two-di mensional mesoporous hectorite. Up to a certain coverage, a part of nonsupe rfluid He-4 films slipped from the oscillating substrate at low temperature s. From the temperature dependence of this slippage, it was found that the thermally activated process plays an important role in the frictional force of this system.
