Developments in Doppler Sonography: Review of duplex Sonography with a nd without ultrasonic contrast media, power Doppler, transcranial Dopp ler sonography. Duplex sonography for investigating the extracranial b rain circulation should always be used in conjunction with unidimensio nal direction sensitive Doppler sonography.
