J. Zou et al., Studies on CXN natural zeolite - III. Preparation and characterization of novel LiCl/H-STI guest/host solid electrolyte, ACT CHIM S, 59(5), 2001, pp. 774-779
By calcination at 250 degreesC for 16 h, LiCl can be highly dispersed into
the channels of H - STI prepared from natural CXN (STI type) zeolite discov
ered in China to form a novel guest/host material. XRD, SEM, FT - IR and DT
A analysis show that LiCl has been loaded and stabilized in the channels of
H - STI. The threshold of LiCl loaded in H- STI is 0.14 g/g, which has bee
n confirmed by AC - impedance measure ments. A sample of LiCl/H - STI with
0.14 g/g loading is found to possess the highest conductivity, which is fou
r orders of magnitude higher than that of the host (H - STI). This fact ind
icates that LiCl/H - STI is a promising solid electrolyte.
