Abstract
A single-sideband modulator for gigahertz modulation frequencies is de monstrated in Ti:LiNbO3 At a frequency shift of Delta f 5.9 GHz, the o ptical bandwidth is delta lambda = 20nm and the electrical bandwidth d elta f = 0.25-1 GHz.
