This study explored the prediction that caves with anterior communicating a
rtery (ACoA) syndrome will exhibit deficits in higher-level language produc
tion and comprehension. A 65-year-old adult male with a history of ACoA syn
drome was tested on higher-level linguistic tasks. The patient's performanc
e on discourse comprehension, discourse production, and linguistic ambiguit
