Em. Ortiz et al., MULTISCATTERING EFFECTS IN THE FAR-FIELD REGION FOR 2 SMALL PARTICLESON A FLAT CONDUCTING SUBSTRATE, Waves in random media, 7(3), 1997, pp. 319-329
The scattered field in the far-field region for two small metallic par
ticles on a conducting substrate is analysed as a function of both the
ir separation and the angle of incidence. Special attention is paid to
multiple scattering, which appears when the particles are very close,
as well as to its related effects such as its influence on the enhanc
ed backscattering phenomenon and depolarization of the incident beam i
n the plane of incidence.
