Abstract
The treatment of glycals with allyltrimethylsilane in the presence of lithi um tetrafluoroborate in acetonitrile gave the corresponding allyl 2,3-unsat urated C-glycosylic compounds in excellent yields with high anomeric select ivity. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
