Abstract
Inclusion complex of acylferrocene-2-furoylhydrazone (AFH) with beta -Cyclo dextrin (beta -CD) has been prepared by using kneading method, Elemental an alysis and the solubility determination proved that 1 : 1 inclusion complex is formed, Characterizations of the inclusion complex were studied by UV, FTIR and X-ray diffractometry. The association constant to be 227.3 L . mol (-1) was calculated from the straight portion of the phase-solubility diagr am. The structure of the inclusion complex was investigated by NMR spectros copy.
