Abstract
Novel anion ionophores based on thiouronium derivatives were synthesized, a nd their application to ion selective electrodes (ISEs) was examined. The e lectrodes clearly exhibited an anti-Hofmeister selectivity pattern with enh anced selectivity for the iodide anion.
