Abstract
The introduction of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has greatly improved t he evaluation of patients with scoliosis allowing assessment of any underly ing intraspinal abnormalities. The aim of this pictorial review is to illus trate the magnetic resonance appearances of various abnormalities encounter ed when imaging developmental spinal deformity.
