Abstract
A phase-coordinate model for induction machines is developed, to facilitate load-flow studies of small hydro- or wind generators connected to distribu tion systems. The phase-coordinate method allows ready analysis of system u nbalance, and the model is applicable to both induction motors and generato rs under these conditions. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
