Abstract
Parathyroid carcinoma is a rare and difficult diagnosis to make based on th
e histological features alone. We review five cases of parathyroid carcinom
a in the past 30 years and the clinical and biochemical features that facil
itate the making of the diagnosis. A favourable outcome can be expected wit
