Abstract
In this paper we give definitions of product of preproximities of fuzzy set s and product of fuzzy proximities and prove that a product of f-preproximi ties is an f-preproximity if f belongs to some classes. We also establish t hat the class of all preproximities and p-continuous functions is closed in the categorical sense with respect to the product. (C) 2001 Elsevier Scien ce B.V. All rights reserved.
