Abstract
Apple cultivars and rootstocks were evaluated for susceptibility to fire bl ight following controlled inoculation with Erwinia amylovora. Most of the x Japanese apple cultivars tested were susceptible to Fire blight, but 'Hime kami' was intermediate. Most of the x Morioka rootstock selections and the x Cornell University rootstock selections tested had levels of resistance s imilar to, or greater than, that of Malling 7 (M.7).
