Abstract
This Article examines the inability of extradition law to respond quic kly to changes in criminal law! This is especially problematic with re spect to computer crime legislation, which is constantly evolving in r esponse to today's computer criminals. In this Article, the authors ex plore the nexus between these two areas of law and evaluate the abilit y of extradition law to properly account for computer crimes. They als o identify the characteristics that make certain types of computer cri me legislation especially incompatible with extradition. Finally, they propose multiple solutions, including a multilateral convention, to f acilitate the extradition of computer criminals.
