Vapor-liquid equilibria data were measured for the first time for the carbo
n dioxide + carvacrol system at 313 K from 0.4 to 30.8 MPa and at 323 K fro
m 0.3 to 30.0 MPa. Data were obtained using a circulation-type apparatus at
sufficiently high fluid densities and a continuous flow-type apparatus at
low fluid densities. The results were correlated by the Peng-Robinson equat
ion of state and by Zudkevitch's modification to the Redlich-Kwong equation
of state, using in both cases classical mixing rules with one adjustable p
arameter.
